About Me

Hi, I'm Zac Bauermeister. I am a programmer who has contributed to games like Pokemon GO and Rogue Piñatas, as well as many personal projects. I also do game design for Cross Faction Games, and have designed and published several card games. I also have done visual art and graphic design for many of these projects, and compose and perform music for synthesizers and piano.

About This Site

I mostly use this website as a landing page for people who have found one of my business cards or purchased one of my games. It has an archive of a bunch of projects from throughout the years, as well as links to other places that I have done things on the internet.

About These Games

This page contains a variety of games and puzzles I have designed.
Luna: A Cosmic Auction

Luna

Luna is an auction game that uses a very small deck of cards. It requires some poker chips or other counters as well. I am planning on designing more cards for it at some point, and also possibly an updated version with simpler text.

In-Hue-Ence

In-Hue-Ence is an abstract strategy game that uses dice (or icehouse pieces, or anything that comes in different colors and can keep track of a number from 1 to 6) as pawns. Don't let the medium fool you though, as there is no random chance involved in this game of shifting influence.

Tipple

Tipple is a card game for four players. It takes about 10-20 minutes to play a hand, and uses a standard deck of cards. The goal of the design was to capture the feeling of bridge strategy with a much simpler ruleset.

Mines

Mines is a minesweeper clone for the Playdate, which implements my all time favorite minesweeper variant: multiple mines per square.
